Superb field for the 30th anniversary of this Saintonge classic, where there was a peloton of 8 R5s. A week after his victory at Le Mans, Faucher did it again at Saintonge, where he had to deal with a particularly upbeat Taveneau, but who was surprised by S. André in the last loop. Discovering his DS3, Lemonnier started cautiously and finished in style, 4th. Dazzling Terrière, who, once again, gave his all to counter the R5 peloton. Alone in GT, Patier put on a show. Merciless struggle F2000, where Paille and Croquet did not do each other any favors, the second winning in the last ES. A well-deserved victory for Thomas, who left no hope to his opponents in group N. G. Coëffe
