Great success for this 28th edition with a narrow, fast, winding and bumpy course. Winner last year ahead of Maxime Belhomme, Gapençais Christophe Ganguet lost all his chances from SS1: the Skoda Fabia driver had in fact barely covered 2 km before suffering a puncture which caused him to lose more 7'. Belhomme therefore positioned himself as leader from the start, finishing the 1st stage ahead of Poudrel at 23”6 and Panagiotis at 28”6. Managing his lead perfectly the next day, the Vauclusien continued a domination which allowed him to win his first scratch victory. A symbolic success for this 1-year-old boy who started competing here in 25! It was in the 2013th of the 8 SS that Yannick Panagiotis (12st Gr. A) managed to take 1nd place from Poudrel (2st GT). The abandonment of Brunet (1) on Sunday opened the way for Clier who won in F2000 for his 2nd outing with his new BMW, while Bernard dominated from start to finish in Gr.N.
