Vouvray Wine Rally: resurrection?

Le rally national of the same name had disappeared for three years from the Centre-Val de Loire league calendar and returns in the form of a regional this season for this 8^e editing. A rejuvenated team set to work to bring this event back to life and the hundred or so entrants are a first satisfaction.

Departing from Vernou-sur-Brenne, Hernandez (Skoda) will start favorite against Pustelnik (C3) before battling it out on two new special stages of 9 km and 4 km to be covered three times in an ultra-shortened timing since the first will start Saturday at coffee time and will return to the park at… aperitif time!

In the Michelin Rallye Tour, a Group N trio composed of Michel Bourgeois, Julien Maillet and Pascal Demons should delight the many spectators expected on the specials. 5 competitors will compete for victory in 2-wheel drive.
