Under a blazing sun, the Gardois Julien Bourguignon associated with Valentin Sarréaud signed his 2e success of the season on the roads of Rally du Gard. Of the 91 competitors who started, only 52 remained at the finish. Unveiling a Skoda R5, Bourguignon won 5 of the 7 SS on the program, leaving one to Brunel and the other to Burnens who followed him, in that order, on the podium. Brunel discovered the i20 that Bryan Bouffier usually drives. Difficulty with the starting procedures, he set times close to those of the Skoda. Burnens, out at Vallespir, took three times to regain confidence before setting a scratch and securing the podium. Durand (3e entry scratch, engine failure) disappeared, Morel took over, 4e until the last time before a faulty engine sensor caused him to downshift. Brunet went off the road, Nicolas clearly dominated the F 2000 group despite a rear impact on a link. In group N, Rouquette led from start to finish against the big N4. A. Lauret
