In this Hautes-Alpes event which celebrated its 20th edition this year with no less than 124 crews, two men held the top of the bill from start to finish. First of all Damien Oberti, who flew insolently at the start of the race until his puncture in the 4th SS.

He lost more than 3' and any chance of victory. Drowning in the general (13th), he then changed his objective, working to align the scratch times (8 of the 9 SS) which propelled him to the foot of the podium.

The second man was none other than Thierry Pascal: solid runner-up, he took advantage of the leader's setbacks to take the lead, completing a faultless run which took him, at 51, to his first victory in the Coupe de France. .

Winner of the only ES left vacant by Oberti, the Haut-Alpin finished far ahead of Schifano and Saunier, although they were accustomed to the terrain. A family success with a special flavor because his uncle, Kiki Pascal, will put an end to his activity at the end of the season after 34 years spent at the Presidency of Auto Sport Laragnais. Behind them, De Régibus (F2000), Note (A) and Bernard (N) completely dominated their respective groups.
