Rally complicated with dry, wet or even soggy parts: in short, a headache when choosing tires. Second in 2005, Robert started the strongest, followed by Cellier at 1″, ahead of the two tightrope walkers Guiot and Sabatier. Robert then widened the gap on his pursuers, while Sabatier broke. Bérard recovered 4th place and victory in Group R; Mounard who was ahead of him, losing 9′ in SS7. In this same special, Delorme made a “pirouette” which dispossessed him of 5th place, recovered by Richard who ended up taking over Bonnefoy. In Group N, Reynard quickly took the lead. He lost it with the return of Boulakhlas, who moved up from 35th place to 12th in 2 SS, before crashing in SS6. When Reynard also made a mistake in SS7, Lévêque recovered the victory, his first in the group, ahead of Naime and Badiou.
