The first stage of this very selective national des Trois Châteaux was full of twists and turns, the hazardous choice of tires being linked to the vagaries of the weather. At this little game, and at the end of an observation phase, Soccol was the most skilled. Comfortable in all conditions, the mechanic from Caussade seems to be enjoying the victories that await him this year. Freed from the Auvergnat Brun, who brilliantly discovered an efficient Skoda Fabia S2000, he continued to manage during the second half marked by the return of Lerosier and, above all, the confirmation of the flying talents of Prat at the helm of a breathtaking 106 kit car. It's a shame that Frégeac (learning the finer points of the EvoX) and Murat (capable of a podium with the Impreza WRX) had to give up in SS5.
