Rally of Normandy Switzerland. April 23-24

Pustelnik roared his 208 T16 from the start, followed by Gautier and his Mégane RS. Still in good shape, “Knapick” placed himself in ambush in the company of Dutot and Morel. Dramatic turn of events during the last special of the first stage, where the two leaders retired after a minor accident! Dutot found himself in the lead ahead of Morel and “Kapick” who lost around thirty seconds in SS 4. During the second day, Dutot resisted well while “Knapick” got the better of Morel. The Mitsubishi driver was on the verge of winning when his rival in the 206 WRC completed a final timed section of anthology which allowed him to snatch victory in style. Morel climbed onto the 3rd step of the podium accompanied by laurels in F2000 ahead of Léon and Langlet. Very good rally also from Bourgeois who pocketed the Gr.N to the detriment of Blondel and Massier. Martin closes the Top 5 and wins the Gr.R against Lemaître and Macherey. N. Thérier
