Rally of Val d’Agout. May 7-8

Slightly behind during the attack, Puppo was able to pull himself together to finish the first stage with a 6” lead over the other S2000 from Sichi and half a minute over Chivaydel. Podium contenders, Rouillard (206) and Besson (on his new and monstrous Clio F2) quickly gave up. In three doses of 25 km, the only ES on Sunday, Jaladieu, ruined the hopes of some and made others reach new heights. Happiness was for Sichi who recovered, signing two scratch times (the 3rd going to Berfa). The Aveyronnais thus won brilliantly ahead of Puppo and Berfa who dislodged Chivaydel from the podium, himself threatened by the excellent Cardenas. J.Teitgen
