Ronde de la Giraglia – Manzagol holds the Cape

At the end of this first full day of racing, Jean-Marc Manzagol took the lead of the Rally. This evening he is 17 seconds ahead of Hugo Micheli who suffered a puncture in the penultimate special, and lost more than 40 seconds in the mishap. In third position we find the always very efficient Léo Roussel.

 

In 4th position, Mickael Reydellet put on a show on the Rogliani bump (in photo © Laurent Battaglini) and secures first place in the 4-wheel drive ranking of the Michelin Rally Tour in front of Eddie Lemaitre.

 

Already 24 abandonments have been reported, with the weather, certainly very mild, but a torrid heat which put most of the mechanics to the test.
