Sardinia – SS4: Tänak takes control
Le Rally from Sardinia holds its 4th different leader in 4 special stages. After Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), Elfyn Evans (Toyota) et Esapekka Lappi (Toyota), c’est Ott Tänak (Hyundai) which takes control of the 5th round of the season. Author of the 2nd fastest time of SS4, 9 tenths behind Dani Sordo (Hyundai), the Estonian dislodges Lappi from 1st place on whom he now has a 0″ lead.
À noter la belle spéciale de Pierre-Louis Loubet (M-Sport) qui réalise un début de Rallye de Sardaigne très solide. Auteur du 4e chrono de l’ES4 à 2″6 seulement de Dani Sordo, le Français pointe à la 3e position du classement général à 9″8 d’Ott Tänak. Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport) is also in good shape this Friday. Sixth in the special, the Northerner is currently in 5th position in the event, less than 15 seconds from the lead.
