Sardinia – Evans forced to retire
Trois spéciales et déjà des soucis pour le clan du Toyota Gazoo Racing. Alors à la lutte pour la 1e place du classement de ce Rally from Sardinia, Elfyn Evans was forced to end his day as confirmed by his team on his social networks.
Provisionally 3rd in this Rally of Sardinia, 3 seconds behind his teammate Esapekka Lappi, Elfyn Evans suffered water pressure problems after hitting an obstacle during SS3 even causing a temperature alert on the system in question .
It is therefore with Esapekka Lappi, Kalle Rovanperä and Takamoto Katsuta that Toyota will finish this Friday in Sardinia. The Japanese manufacturer's plan is to repair Elfyn Evans' car so that he can start this Saturday.
