The 8th and 9th special stages of the Sardinia Rally have been canceled, putting an end to this first day.

Sardinia: SS 8 and 9 canceled, day over

The afternoon was shorter than expected in Sardinia this Friday. After SS8 was canceled due to a car on fire on the road, organizers also announced that SS9 would not take place.

Avec ces annulations, Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) termine le vendredi en tête. Le Finlandais a une petite marge puisqu’il ne compte que 7 dixièmes d’avance sur Ott Tänak (Hyundai). Un peu plus loin en 3e position, Pierre-Louis Loubet (M-Sport) pointe le bout de son nez à 15″1.

The action will resume at 7:46 a.m. Rally from Sardinia this Saturday.
