Forced to stop shortly after the start of SS7, Yohan Rossel will not make it to the end of this Rally of Sardinia. The Habs confirmed their abandonment on their social networks.

Sardinia – Rally over for Rossel

Le Rally of Sardinia 2022 is over for Yohan Rossel. In the fight for category victory in WRC2, the Gardois native was forced to stop his Citroën C2 Rally2 around 400 meters after the starting line of SS7 due to leaving the road.

« We went off the road. We are both fine. I'm sorry for all of you! »wrote Yohan Rossel in a Facebook post. With the Habs' retirement, Andreas Mikkelsen is now 15″8 ahead of Nikolay Gryazin and 30″7 over Teemu Suninen.
