La troisième i20 engagée par Hyundai en championnat du monde tient son propriétaire pour le Rally of Monza, last round of the 2021 season. In a toss-up between Dani Sordo and Craig Breen, usual freelancers, the South Korean manufacturer finally opted for the Spaniard for the Italian meeting.
Without real surprise, Thierry Neuville et Ott Tänak will be at the wheel of the two other i20s entered by Hyundai at Monza.

Not selected by Hyundai for the final round of the 2021 campaign, Craig Breen will have competed in his last rally with the Asian manufacturer in Finland last September. Next year, the Irishman will wear the colors of M-Sport.
