After eight specials yesterday on the roads of the North, Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën DS3 WRC) took a first clear advantage over the competition in the Rally du Touquet-Pas de Calais, opening round of the French Rally Championship.

Le pilote Citroën Racing a réalisé la journée parfaite en remportant toutes les ES au programme et possède ce matin avant la seconde étape une avance de plus d’une minute sur Bryan Bouffier (Hyundai i20 R5).

Reigning French champion Yoann Bonato (Citroën DS3 R5) completes the podium, less than twenty seconds behind Bryan Bouffier. Thibault Habouzit, who is making his debut in the French Championship, places his Skoda Fabia R5 in fourth position ahead of Pierre Roché (Skoda Fabia R5), in the lead in the Michelin Trophy.

Quentin Gilbert (Skoda Fabia R5) was unsuccessful, retiring at the start of the race, following an engine problem on SS1. Eight stages will be on the program this Saturday.
