Nothing is decided in this 68th Rally from Sweden. While there have already been 6 changes of leader since the start of the event this Friday, Elfyn Evans is not giving up. Relegated to 4"8 behind Kalle Rovanperä at the end of the first loop on Saturday, the Welshman returned to just 1"2 behind the Finn after his third special victory of the weekend.
With SS11 completed in 6'18"8, Elfyn Evans took back 3"6 from Kalle Rovanperä on whom he continued to put pressure. In the tough at the end of the loop this Saturday where he gave up precious seconds in pursuit of victory, Thierry Neuville intervened between the two pilots of the Toyota Gazoo Racing.
With this 2nd time in SS11, the Belgian is only 3 tenths behind 3rd place overall occupied by Esapekka Lappi, 4th in the special.
