Sweden, SS15: Neuville threatened by Lappi
Heureusement que Kalle Rovanperä (Toyota) bénéficie d’une avance dépassant la vingtaine de secondes sur cette dernière étape du Rally of Sweden 2022. The 21-year-old Finn is still driving without any assistance from the hybrid system on his GR Yaris Rally1! But thanks to the retirement of his teammate and first rival Elfyn Evans in the previous special, the leader of the event is in “management” mode.
The challenge at the end of the rally now concerns second place. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a concédé un poignée de secondes et ne dispose plus que de 3″2 de marge sur Esapekka Lappi (Toyota). “I always have trouble with the braking phases, I have no sensations in this area”, explained Thierry Neuville. The best time of this ES is the work ofOtt Tänak (Hyundai).
