The first step of Rally Terre des Causses, first round of the French Terrestrial Rally Championship, saw the domination of Sylvain Michel (Skoda Fabia R5).

On very wet terrain, the driver of the 2C Compétition team set five of the six best possible times this Saturday and concluded the stage with an 8″ lead over Thibault Durbec (Citroën DS5). WRC), author of a spin in SS3.

Michel, left behind by Durbec in SS1, patiently reduced the gap before taking the advantage at the end of SS4, before widening the gap over the last two sectors of the day.

Yohan Rossel places his Citroën C3 R5 in third place at 20″2, and precedes Lionel Baud (Citroën DS3 WRC), victim of problems with his shift paddles, and not very comfortable with his brakes in the final sector, and William Wagner (Volkswagen Polo R5), who entered the top 5 at 44″5 and 52″6.

On his Hyundai i20 R5, Brice Tirabassi se classe 9e à plus d’une minute et 40″.
