Returning to the calendar after a year of absence, the rally Tourangeau took over old sections of the Critérium de Touraine from the 70s. Winner of the prologue, Gonnet went off the road in SS2 and his Lotus caught fire, also setting fire to a field. Almost simultaneously, Christophe Rémy flew over a bump at full speed and destroyed his Skoda Fabia. His daughter and teammate Fanny and himself were injured. This special was neutralized on two passages. Fortunately, the rest of the rally will be calmer. The young driver from La Rochelle Sam Taveneau scored all the time and continued to learn his new C3. The veteran Jean Galpin (Skoda) who had not driven for almost a year did better than defend himself and asserted his place as runner-up against the Northerner Roussel (DS3) author of several "figures" and who was discovering these roads. In group N, the Norman Bourgeois continued his harvest of victories in front of Gaume who quickly learned how to pilot his new mount. Margely once again sparked in the F 2000 group and finished just off the scratch podium with her Saxo! In an anemic Group A, the Blondel brothers won with their Clio kit-car. Mahier in R2 and Baziret (R3) were above the rest in their class while Fagnen, still dazzling, signed his ninth victory in F2/12 this season!
