Terre de Lozère – Franceschi doubles the stake

Mathieu Franceschi (Fabia Rally2) did not tremble during the second stage of the Rally Terre de Lozère to sign its fourth consecutive victory this season. Already a winner at Mende last year for his first appearance at the wheel of a Rally2 last year, the AMD Motorsport driver scored a second victory in a row at Terre de Lozère. Franceschi is heading straight towards a first French Champion title.

The only driver to come close to the winner's times, Florent Todeschini (Fiesta Rally2) confirmed his increase in power at the wheel of a four-wheel drive. The 2021 French Junior Champion, notably supported by Yacco, remained alone in second place, without making a mistake.

Distanced from the leader by more than two minutes, Benjamin Clémençon (Polo GTI R5) and Manu Gascou (C3 Rally2) fought for third place. It was ultimately Clémençon who had the last word for his first rally at the wheel of the VW.

Jean-Baptiste Franceschi (Clio Rally4) completed the two stages on the edge of the Top 5 to win the two-wheel drive classification.

Leader of the two-wheel drive classification and of the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup, Terence Callea (208 Rally4) lost everything in the final special of the rally when a transmission broke. Réhane Gany (208 Rally4) inherited the victory in the Cup. A good operation for Gany who consolidated his lead in the Stellantis Motorsport Rally Cup standings.

Penalized by ten seconds for a “late” score during the first stage, Mattéo Chatillon (Clio Rally5) managed to hold off Florian Bouchonneau (Clio Rally5) for victory in Clio Trophy France Terre.

For his part, Michaël Lobry (Evo 10 R4) claimed victory in the Terre Yacco National Trophy.

Final ranking of Terre de Lozère
