Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) point at the head of the Rally Terre des Causses after the first three special stages contested. Did the French asphalt rally champion benefit from the long Gelles special? Mas de Cance (21,88km) to take the lead with an 8 second lead over the Peugeot 307 WRC by Lionel Baud. The 307 WRC of Paul Chieusse is on the provisional podium 20 seconds behind. Jérome Jacquot (207 S2000) and Serge Gillouin (Subaru Impreza GT) complete the top five, separated by only 3 seconds. Guerlain Chicherit is only in 14th position on his Mini JCW which is suffering from brake problems. Stéphane Consani leads the 208 category with less than 10 seconds ahead of Stéphane Lefebvre.
