While everything seemed frozen after the ninth special, reigning champion Jean-Marie Cuoq considerably improved his time during the 10th special, run, like the 8th, between Bourthes and Hucqueliers. By gaining almost 17,1 seconds from Eric Brunson, third in this special, Jean-Marie Cuoq, on his Citroën C4, is now only 16,2 seconds behind the overall leader. Once again the author of a scratch, the second of the day, Julien Maurin has reason to regret, having lost so much time during the first stage after a puncture. Fifth in the scratch ranking, the driver of the Ford Fiesta WRC is literally falling on Dany Snobeck, currently fourth.
