Quentin Gilbert (Citroën C4 WRC) got a big scare in this SS13, the penultimate special of the rally du Touquet. He lost around thirty seconds in an exit, but retained his second place overall, despite a damaged stiffener which caused the C4 to overheat. Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta RS WRC) takes the scratch and has a lead of 1'17" before the final time of the day contested on the Front de mer special. Pierre Roché remains 3rd in his Mini JCW WRC, more than 3' behind 30” by Maurin.
