Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) achieves the scratch on the 24,51 km long Verton – Colline Beaumont special. He is ahead of the other C4 of Quentin Gilbert, who recovered well after his puncture this morning, failing 0″5 behind Cuoq. The overall leader, Julien Maurin takes 3rd place in the ES at 2″9. Behind, the gaps widen, since Pierre Roché places his Mini in 4th position but more than 25″5 from the best time. Eric Brunson, three-time title holder at Le Touquet, does not seem able to defend his title since he loses another 35″1 in this special.

Overall, Maurin maintains the advantage over Cuoq by 4″4. Roché is 3rd at 39″6. Quentin Gilbert begins his comeback as he goes from 7th to 4th place, less than 5″ from the podium. Eric Brunson completes the top 5, following Gilbert's wheels and remains in the fight for the podium.
