Beaten by Yoann Bonato (CHL Sport Auto) in SS4, Éric Camilli (PH Sport by Minerva Oil) gained the upper hand over his rival during SS7 by setting the best time.
With a time of 7'43, the Niçois took the scratch on SS5 ahead of Éric Brunson (+1"3) and event leader Yoann Bonato (+2"2).
The latter is still in control of the general classification with 30 seconds ahead of Éric Camilli and 8 seconds over Éric Brunson.
