Considered to be tricky, the Pignans special stage was approached with caution by the drivers.
Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store) took advantage of these delicate conditions to increase his lead over Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), second in this special.
The Nice driver is now 23,2 seconds ahead of Bonato.
Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Bonneton HDG) continues to put out the big attack with a third time which allows him to regain the lead of the R-GT16 with 0,3 seconds ahead of François Delecour (A110 Rally).
Patrick Rouillard (Fabia Rally2-Rouillard Sport) showed consistency and remained in fourth place in the general classification, just behind Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ). The latter is keen to preserve his place on the podium in addition to the orders in the Michelin Trophy “excluding R5”.
