Leader of rally and author of the first two scratch times, Quentin Giordano (Polo GTI R5-Sarrazin Motorsport) was trapped at the start of SS3, retirement seems inevitable.
In these conditions, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) is already assured of the title of French Champion, the fourth of his career. A deliverance which will allow him to “let loose a little more” on the next special stages.
Logically marked by the exits of Ludovic Gal (Polo GTi Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport) and Quentin Giordano (Polo GTi Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport), Stéphane Sarrazin (Polo GTi Rally2-Sarrazin Motorsport) achieves the best time and takes the lead of the rally with 11 seconds ahead of Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store).
Third in this special, Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ) moved up to fourth place in the provisional ranking.
On a road that is still wet and with a few “Jean Ragnotti” passages, Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Bonneton HDG) sets the fourth time just ahead of François Delecour (A110 Rally), who started on medium tires.
