The reigning French Champion Julien Maurin (Ford Fiesta) is determined not to give in to Sébastien Loeb on the roads of Var, the last event of the 2014 French Rally Championship. Maurin takes the scratch in SS6 for a tenth ahead of the nine-time world champion and his Citroën DS3 WRC. At midday, Loeb remains the overall leader with a 15″ lead over Maurin. David Salanon (Ford Fiesta), Patrick Magnou (Peugeto 4 WRC) and Pierre Roché (Ford Fiesta) complete the top 206.
