Var ES8 – Scratch for Ciamin

After the mid-day regrouping, then a passage through the assistance, the drivers of the Rally du Var resumed the race with a short special on the Circuit du Var (4,2 kilometers).

Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store) was particularly efficient with a time which allowed him to gain more than 4 seconds from Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto), only 7th in this small slalom.

The Alpine showed themselves at ease on the circuit, Julien Saunier (A110 Rally-Sébastien Loeb Racing Bardhal) set the second time ahead of Gregory Fontalba (A110 Rally-Rossel Compétition) and François Delecour (A110 Rally). The latter also took the opportunity to move up to fourth place in the provisional classification behind Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ) with 0,1 seconds ahead of Patrick Rouillard (Fabia Rally2-Rouillard Sport).
