Var ES9 – Ciamin drives the point home

If the weather is nicer, the road is still wet or even greasy in places. 

Author of the scratch in the previous special, Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store) hits a big blow in the second pass of the day in the Gonfaron special.

The driver supported by Oreca Store sticks more than 10 seconds to Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto). Both drivers opted for the same choice of tires by combining soft compounds and wet tires.

Launched into a crazy comeback, Cédric Robert (A110 Rally-Bonneton HDG) sets the third time by equipping his Alpine four rain tires.

Patrick Rouillard (Fabia Rally2-Rouillard Sport) moved up to fourth place in the general classification by setting the fourth fastest time in this special ahead of Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ), firmly attached to the provisional podium.
