The seventh special (Le Plan de la Tour) of the Rally du Var, last round of the French Rally Championship, has been canceled for safety reasons, and will be run in liaison. There is therefore only one timed event left to conclude this second stage, since SS9 had already been canceled yesterday due to the bad weather which hit the region. Sebastian Loeb (Citroen DS3 WRC) is leading the rally with a 15″4 lead over the Ford Fiesta of reigning French Champion Julien Maurin.
