Victory at Marcillac for Jean Michel Da Cunha.

If the sun shone on the finishing podium as if to salute the 12th victory of local Jean-Michel Da Cunha, Citroën C3 R5/ Rally 2, the rain disrupted the first loop on Sunday. A loop where J. M. Da Cunha signed the first scratch of the day and took back control of the rally before a puncture slowed him down in the next one, which allowed Eric Rousset Citroën, C4 WRC, to go back in front.

After passing through the assistance to put on the soft tires, the road having dried out, Eric Rousset confirmed in special 9 and approached the last with almost 10 seconds in advance. A final special which was fatal to him, engine problems less than a kilometer from the finish caused him to finish idling on 2 wheels. If he retained 2nd place overall, he let the victory slip away. Behind the classification was the same as the day before. Florian Condamines, VW Polo GTI, finished 3rd ahead of the 1st GT, theAlpine A 110 of Vincent Leduc and the Skoda Fabia R5/Rally 2 of Jérémie Turco.
