On the Rally Finland, the day started very badly for Oliver Solberg with an exit from the track in the first turns of the first special stage on the program this Friday. The Hyundai crew was unhurt but the damage to the car was too great to continue.

En WRC comme dans n’importe quelle autre discipline, il ne faut pas rater son premier virage. En Finlande, Oliver Solberg l’a appris à ses dépens. Pour la première spéciale de la journée, le jeune suédois était dans les startings blocks après sa 9e temps sur l’ES1. Mais dès le premier tournant, le pilote Hyundai n’était visiblement pas prêt. Au bout de quelques mètres, Oliver Solberg est sorti trop large avant de partir en tonneaux.

Although the crew was able to escape unscathed, the Swede was very angry with himself after his mistake. Unfortunately for Oliver Solberg and Elliott Edmondson, the damage to the car was too severe to return to the road. So after just one special, it’s already the end of the day for the Hyundai crew.
