The rallies follow one another and are similar for Gus Greensmith. Like in New Zealand deux semaines auparavant, le pilote M-Sport Ford a confondu vitesse et précipitation lors de la deuxième étape d’une manche WRC by braking too late before a turn on the 11th special stage of the Rally of Catalonia.
The English driver, visibly motivated by a mysterious battle for ninth place against his teammate Adrien fourmaux, seriously damaged his Ford Puma hybrid against the guardrail. This is the second time in a row that Gus Greensmith has made a mistake in the second stage of a rally after New Zealand.
