Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) attacked very hard in the Power Stage of Wales Rally GB, which was exceptionally contested during the last stage. The Finn completed the 14,76km of Gwydir in 9'31''6, 8 tenths ahead of his teammate Ott Tänak started again in Rally 2. Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) set the 3rd time 5”3 ahead Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) and Esapekka Lappi (Toyota). Craig Breen (Citroën) lost around twenty seconds by spinning. His teammate Mads Ostberg lost 1”8 to his compatriot Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).
Jari-Matti Latvala took the lead in Wales Rally GB, 3s ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Esapekka Lappi is around ten seconds behind the M-Sport driver. Craig Breen remains 6th with 4 seconds ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen who took 15th position for 5 tenths ahead of Mads Ostberg. Hayden Paddon follows the C9 WRC of the Norwegian less than 4 seconds ahead of his teammate Thierry Neuville by 5 seconds.
