Le Rally of New Zealand enters its last stage where 63km of timed tests remain to be completed. The rain is indeed there for this last stage which could further disrupt the order established so far.
Citroën has decided to freeze positions with Sébastien Loeb leader of the event ahead of his teammate Mikko Hirvonen. Petter Solberg (Ford) completes the provisional podium 1'30 behind the leading duo. Evgeny Novikov (Ford) is 30 seconds behind the Norwegian while Ott Tänak (Ford) is 21 seconds behind the Russian. Thierry Neuville (Citroën) completes the top six ahead of Dani Sordo (Mini), Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford), Armindo Araujo (Mini) and Ken Block (Ford).
