Germany-SS2: Dani Sordo takes control

En réalisant le meilleur temps sur les 9,27 km de Wadern-Weiskirchen en 5’12″2, Dani Sordo (Hyundai) fait coup double en s’emparant des commandes du Rally from Germany. The Spanish driver who chose as his teammate Thierry Neuville une sélection mixte de pneus (trois tendres et trois durs), devance le leader du championnat de 1″7 et Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) of 2″6.

Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën) sets the fourth time 2″9 ahead Ott Tänak (ford), Craig Breen (Citroen) and Sébastien Ogier (Ford), left in a field after a spin in the special. In the general classification, Sordo is now ahead of Tänak by 1″5 and Neuville by 1″9. Latvala and Mikkelsen complete the top 5 at 2″3 ahead of Breen at 3″1 and Ogier at 4″4.

En WRC-2, Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5) is the fastest, ahead of Eric Camilli (Ford Fiesta R5) by 0″6 and Pontus Tidemand (Skoda Fabia R5) by 2″5. Overall, the Czech driver precedes the Frenchman by 6″6 and the Swede by 7″8.
