Ott Tänak (Ford) s’est montré le plus rapide sur le second passage dans Mittelmosel ce vendredi après-midi, sur un parcours très humide, et où les concurrents ont réalisé des choix de pneus différents. L’Estonien de M-Sport, qui avait fait confiance en partie aux pneus pluie, a complété la spéciale en 13’31″5 et précède Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën) de 3″2 et Sébastien Ogier (Ford) 5″1.
In the general classification, Mikkelsen maintains the advantage by nine tenths over Ott Tänak, while Sébastien Ogier is still in third position at 7″5. The gaps are widening behind since Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), désormais quatrième, suit à 26″3 et devance Elfyn Evans (Ford), classé à 29″4, Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) à 31″8 et Craig Breen (Citroën) at 49″3.
The Toyotas of Juho Hänninen and Jari-Matti Latvala follow in the standings at 52″ and 1’47″3. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) provisionally completes the top 10 at 1'52″6.
