The last special of the day at Rally d’Allemagne a été remportée par Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota), avec un meilleur temps établi en 5’54″9, quatre dixièmes devant Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) et huit dixièmes devant Ott Tänak (Ford).
The latter is still leading the event this evening, with a lead increased to 5″7 over Andreas Mikkelsen (Citroën), fourth in SS8, 2″0 behind Latvala and 1″2 behind Ott Tänak. Behind this duo, Sébastien Ogier (Ford) lost his third place after a spin and conceded 21″5 in this sector.
Le Français abandonne sa position dans le top 3 à Thierry Neuville pour 2″4. Le pilote M-Sport n’est pas le seul à s’être fait une chaleur dans ce dernier chrono puisque Neuville ou encore Craig Breen (Citroën) also went to visit the roadsides.
Behind Ogier, Elfyn Evans (Ford) remains fifth in the rally at 52″1 and now precedes Juho Hänninen (Toyota), who overtook Craig Breen in this special. Jari-Matti Latvala is in eighth position at 1'54″7 and precedes Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) and Jan Kopecky (Skoda Fabia R5), still leader in WRC-2 with a 5″8 margin over Pontus Tidemand (Skoda Fabia R5).
