Kris Meeke took the twelfth time in the Rally from Argentina with his Citroën C3, at the end of the 20,52 km from Boca del Arroyo – Bajo del Pungo. The Briton is ahead of Mads Ostberg (Ford) by 1″1 and Ott Tänak (Ford) 1″8.
Elfyn Evans (Ford), victim of a slow puncture in SS11, lost more time in SS12, but maintains the advantage over Thierry Neuville (Hyundai), désormais revenu à 44″1 au général. Mads Ostberg, malgré une Fiesta endommagée au niveau du diffuseur arrière, reste troisième, 4″1 devant Ott Tänak.
Sébastien Ogier (Ford), who admitted at the stop point of SS12 that “something was broken” on his Fiesta WRC pointe toujours au cinquième rang, mais voit l’écart avec Ott Tänak passer à 14″5. Latvala s’est aussi rapproché de la cinquième place d’Ogier, le pilote Toyota revenant à 14″1 de son ancien équipier chez Volkswagen.
Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) follows in the standings ahead of Lorenzo Bertelli (Ford), again ahead of Juho Hänninen (Toyota), and Pontus Tidemand (Skoda), leader in WRC-2.
