The Frenchman gained two positions by taking over Dani Sordo and taking advantage of the retirement of Ott Tänak. Jari-Matti Latvala finds himself 6th, a dozen seconds behind the Spaniard, ahead of Teemu Suninen. Mads Ostberg finds himself 8th in his C3 R5 at the head of the WRC 2 Pro.
