Fourth in the sector at 2″8, Ott Tänak (Toyota) réalise toutefois la bonne opération de l’ES en reprenant les commandes du classement général face à Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) pour huit dixièmes. Kris Meeke, Sébastien Ogier (Ford) follow in the standings at 3″1 and 4″5. Dani Sordo completes the provisional top 5 having overtaken his teammate Thierry Neuville. 1″8 separate the two Hyundai drivers.
