The task promises to be difficult in the muddy conditions of the 3rd stage of the Rally from Australia, but Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) reste à l’attaque. Le prétendant au titre a surtout devancé Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) de 5 secondes et Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) de 9 secondes. Ott Tänak (Toyota) also ranked 9 seconds behind the benchmark.
Ott Tänak retains the lead of Rally Australia with a lead of 12 seconds over Jari-Matti Latvala. Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) remains in 6rd place with a good lead over Mads Ostberg (Citroën) who relegated Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) to more than 3 seconds. Sébastien Ogier remains 6th ahead of Elfyn Evans who sees Thierry Neuville come back to less than 6 seconds.
