Ott Tänak (Toyota) s’est offert le scratch dans le second passage de Savalla, l’ES10 du Rally of Catalonia. The Estonian was ahead Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) de 3 dixièmes tandis que Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) followed by just over a second. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Dani Sordo (Hyundai) finished more than 2 seconds behind, preceding the Fords of Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen.
Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) was behind when he thought he had made a good time. The Alsatian finished 4”5 off the scratch.
Thierry Neuville now has more than 15 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb, now threatened by Dani Sordo, back to less than 4 seconds. Ott Tänak is 7 seconds behind the Spaniard, still ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala and the Fords of Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen. Sébastien Ogier remains 8th.
