Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a débuté la dernière étape du Rally of Catalonia by signing the scratch in the SS14 of Riudecanyes. The Belgian beat his teammate Dani Sordo by 7 tenths and Ott Tänak (Toyota) d’un peu plus d’une seconde. En revanche, Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) a été l’un des plus lents avec plus de 8 secondes de retard, échouant derrière Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Kris Meeke (Toyota), Sébastien Ogier (Citroën), Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).
Thierry Neuville now has more than 22 seconds ahead of Dani Sordo. Ott Tänak remains less than 4 seconds behind the Spaniard by pushing Sébastien Loeb back more than 8 seconds. Jari-Matti Latvala remains 5th ahead of the Fords of Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen. Sébastien Ogier is still 8th.
