Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) maintient la pression sur Jari-Matti Latvala au Rally of Chile despite the adjustment of the commissioners' times. The nine-time champion WRC took 6 seconds from the Finn in the second passage of Rio Lia, the 9th SS of the event, finishing 4 tenths from the scratch of Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) who completed the special in 13'45''1.
The pilots Toyota Kris Meeke and Ott Tänak followed by more than 4 seconds, ahead of the Fords of Elfyn Evans and Teemu Suninen. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) remains behind with more than 11 seconds behind. Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) follows 15 seconds behind.
Ott Tänak maintains a 30-second lead over Sébastien Ogier. Jari-Matti Latvala keeps 3rd place with less than 8 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb. Elfyn Evans remains 5th ahead of Teemu Suninen and Esapekka Lappi. Andreas Mikkelsen still occupies 8th place ahead of Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda), solid leader of WRC 2 Pro ahead of Mads Ostberg (Citroën).
