Ott Tänak (Toyota) réalise un second passage exemplaire en signant son second scratch consécutif au Rally from Chile. The Estonian completed the 22,26km of Espigado in 14'03''4. It's Sebastian Loeb (Hyundai) qui a encore été le plus proche avec 3’’7 de retard, l’Alsacien devant de 2 secondes son compatriote Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) and Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota).
Kris Meeke (Toyota) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) ont suivi à un peu plus de 7 secondes. Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) a rallié l’arrivée avec 14 secondes de retard en devançant Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) et Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) qui a bien cru partir en tonneau sur le parcours.
Ott Tänak now has a 23-second lead over Sébastien Ogier, while Jari-Matti Latvala remains on the provisional podium with a little over 2 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville. Kris Meeke retains 5th place for 4 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb who took 6th position with around ten seconds ahead of Elfyn Evans. Teemu Suninen took 8th position, one second ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen. Esapekka Lappi completes the Top 10.
