Ott Tänak (Toyota) a perdu 2 minutes dans le Désert des Agriates, l’ES11 du Tour de Corse, en souffrant d’une crevaison à l’avant-droit l’obligeant à changer sa roue. Son coéquipier Jari-Matti Latvala a souffert du même mal.
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) s’est offert le scratch en bouclant les 14,45km en 7’57’’6 avec un dixième d’avance sur Kris Meeke (Toyota). Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) suit devant Esapekka Lappi (Citroën), Dani Sordo (Hyundai) et Elfyn Evans (M-Sport). Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) is just over 3 seconds behind, ahead of Sébastien Ogier (Citroen).
Elfyn Evans regains the lead of the Tour de Corse with less than 12 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville. Dani Sordo climbs onto the provisional podium ahead of Sébastien Ogier and Teemu Suninen. Esapekka Lappi climbs to 6th place with a little more than 3 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak who loses 6 places. Sébastien Loeb remains 8th ahead of the Toyotas of Kris Meeke and Jari-Matti Latvala.
