Elfyn Evans (M-Sport) a lancé la pleine attaque dans les 31,85km des Eaux de Zilia, la pénultième spéciale du Tour de Corse. Avec un chrono de 15’47’’2, le Gallois a devancé Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) of 16 seconds. Ott Tänak (Toyota) a été le plus proche avec près de 9 secondes de retard en précédant Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) et Sébastien Ogier (Citroen). Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) failed more than 24 seconds ahead of Esapekka Lappi (Citroën). Dani Sordo (Hyundai) was furthest behind with more than half a minute late following brake problems.
Elfyn Evans regains the lead of the Tour de Corse with an 11”5 lead over Thierry Neuville before the Power Stage. Sébastien Ogier consolidates his 3rd place with 39 seconds ahead of Dani Sordo. Teemu Suninen remains 5th ahead of Ott Tänak, Esapekka Lappi, Sébastien Loeb, Kris Meeke and Jari-Matti Latvala.
